- The boat is constructed from carbon fiber, and Kevlar and is regarded as one of the lightest and strongest boat of its kind ever constructed.
Stores carried on the boat during your crossing
- Food, a combination of military rations, pot noodles, chocolate, dried fruit, to provide approx 5000 calories per day
- Water, water is produced by an electric Spectra watermaker (desalinator) in addition 150 litres of fresh water/wine are carried as ballast
- Safety equip including: Epirb(Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon), Flares, Liferaft, AIS, GPS, Compass, Sea Anchor, Solar panels charging two marine batteries
- Two sets of oars are carried at all times
